Hans Rothenburger – der Architekt der Bamberger Moderne

In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Treffpunkt Architektur und der Stadt Bamberg entstand die Ausstellung und der Bildband über Hans Rothenburger, der 1958 bis 1982 Leiter des Hochbauamtes Bambergs war. Er setzte sich stark für den Denkmalschutz ein, für den behutsamen Umgang mit dem im Krieg fast gar nicht zerstörten Bamberger Altstadtkern.

Seine Bauten – v.a. Schulbauten – stehen für den Aufbruch in die Moderne.
